原子力災害へ備えるための15ステップ ~スッテップ2~ The 15 steps to Nuclear Disaster Preparedness ~Step 2~

Step 2  Keep yourself informed and “watch like a hawk”

ステップ2 常に情報を収集し、鷹のように目を凝らしましょう

You need to have your news sources set up and be in the habit of checking them daily. Arnold Gunderson says he tells his friends on the west coast to “watch Unit #4 at Fukushima Daiichi like a hawk” – because if Unit #4 collapses we may not be able to stay in North America.

As the fallout from a meltdown at CGS would be even worse than Fukushima, and we are much much closer, you need to stay on top of the news at the Hanford Reservation as well. If you hear there has been a major earthquake, first check your sources to find out if CGS has been affected.

Be familiar with “Keep Yourself Informed” sources so you can know how to access them and get in the habit of checking them daily.

Keep Yourself Informed」の情報源に親しんでおいてください。アクセスの仕方や、日々の情報確認を習慣づけて起きましょう。
